Volunteer Opportunity - VITA Tax Preparation Check In Desk
A message from the Division of Professional Studies:
Tax season is here and UMBC student volunteers are working hard to earn their IRS certifications so they can prepare tax returns for low income families. This program is called UMBC VITA and we also need volunteers to staff our check in desk.
Please consider covering one (or more!) shifts to support this amazing group of students. Volunteers are needed to help with our Saturday tax preparation sessions that take place February 12 - April 2. Shifts are 8:30am-12:30pm or 12:00pm-4:00pm at the Apartment Community Center.
