Polar Plunge at UMBC on Sun, March 10

Swim Across America - Baltimore is kicking off their 2024 fundraising season with a Polar Plunge right here at UMBC! SAA Baltimore raises money for cancer research and clinical trials at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins. 

Help us kick off our 15th year with a Polar Plunge! Join the swim team and Officer Chip and take a dip in the outdoor pool at UMBC on Sunday, March 10, 2024, starting at 9AM. The pool will be filled, but not heated, so hop in quickly to start our fundraising season for Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center. A $15 donation is recommended, though not required, in honor of our 15th year. Everyone at the pool must be registered, regardless of their intentions to get in the water or not. SAA Baltimore is celebrating its 15th year in Baltimore this year and has donated more than $5.5 million for clinical trials in immunotherapy, genomic-based testing, and the creation of a cancer survivorship program.
