Grievances
Exempt and non-exempt excluded staff should review the appropriate Board of Regents policies on the filing of grievances. More detailed information on the grievance process may be found in the USM website

Staff Awards
All departments and offices are invited to submit nominations to the Office of the Provost to the attention of the Staff Awards Committee for UMBC Presidential Staff Awards, Board of Regents USM Staff Awards, and Jakubik Family Endowment Staff Award. 

UMBC Employee of the Quarter
The Employee of the Quarter Program recognizes the outstanding qualities and contributions of employees towards departmental and UMBC's goals and mission.   Anyone may nominate an employee by completing the nomination form and turning it into Human Resources. 

Staff are encouraged to report their achievements online through MyUMBC Instructions
Examples of achievements: academic degree, elected to a government office, community service, awards, presentations, publications, etc.
