Wheelchair Basketball Event with Maryland Ravens

You are invited to help us raise campus awareness about accessibility by participating in a wheelchair basketball game with the Maryland Ravens, whose mission is to build cooperation and foster relationships between people with disabilities and their community.

The Ravens organization provides the equipment, a brief training clinic for players of all abilities (with or without disability), and a very entertaining game! You and your teammates (volunteer campus partners of staff, faculty and students) provide the effort for a very enjoyable, mixed-ability game on wheels.

Come out, ready to play and learn via this fun and supportive experience and strengthen the UMBC community as the Maryland Ravens build teamwork and cooperation between people with physical disabilities and able-bodied people. This event has been a great success in the past and we need you to continue the tradition as a player or spectator. Bring a friend or colleague, and let's raise awareness about disAbility together!
