What do we do?
We provide a forum for discussing issues involving or of interest to exempt staff members. Some of these topics have included FLSA, campus climate, employee benefits, and state budget updates and impacts.
We work diligently to maintain and contribute to community life at UMBC by organizing professional development and social events for staff and volunteering for non-PSS sponsored events. Each member serves on selected subcommittees of their choosing regarding policies and procedures, from athletics to the library to staff outreach and development.
