Professional Development Day on April 16th, 2020

How is community and culture created? Who gets to say? We are all part of the community and culture that is UMBC. Our shared culture gets created first at the individual level. This year's half-day conference style Professional Development Day on April 16th, 2020 focuses on building our culture from the inside out.

 

Through our theme of Me, You, Us: Empowering Ourselves, Building Relationships, Co-Creating Our Community participants will enjoy a morning keynote on work-life balance and have the opportunity to choose 2 break-out sessions.

 

Breakout session topics include: managing strengths, unleashing your superpower, fierce conversations, civility, customer service, and ways to create a culture of appreciation.

 

Join us for a day of learning, development, and self-care with sessions After just half a day you will leave with a variety of tools and approaches to make a positive impact in your professional and personal life.
