Call for On-Campus Volunteers, August 21-26
Drive-Through COVID-19 Testing
UMBC will conduct on-campus, drive-through COVID-19 testing in the Commons Garage, August 21-26, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., and is seeking volunteers to help with non-clinical tasks. This includes tasks like checking forms, directing traffic, and labeling materials. (Clinical duties will be performed by University Health Services staff and an external nursing staff agency.) Each shift will be four hours and volunteers can select one or multiple shifts.
All positions would require a face mask; please arrive at campus wearing one. As an extra precaution, to minimize risk, UMBC will provide additional PPE as needed or as requested, such as a fresh face mask, a face shield, gloves and/or gown. To be eligible, volunteers must have previously taken a COVID-19 test and not have any COVID-19 symptoms. Your temperature will be taken on-campus when you report to volunteer.
